The best thing about van life is that you travel with no expectations, always have a bed to sleep in no matter where you end up, the only thing you need are the essentials, and you are constantly discovering things along the way.
We set off on our travels, Sydney to Byron Bay just for the week with only one intention - surf.
We surfed, but we explored. We met amazing people, made new friends, discovered new places, walked the unbeaten track, and took the wrong turn which ended up being the right turn at the right time.
When you travel, wake up every day with the intention of having no intentions. Get up before the sun rises and see what the day will bring. Don't be afraid to take the wrong turn, because you never know what you will discover. And always be prepared to laugh until you can't breathe, find more magical places than the last, always having an overwhelming sense of gratitude, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
