How do I find the right fit for my HEAD?
To measure your head at home take a measuring tape around the circumference of your head at a finger's width above your ears, above your eyes, and around the widest part of the back of your head. Don't make it too tight. Match your result with the sizing below.
If you are in between sizes, we recommend going the next large size up.
All of our felt hats are 100% Australian high quality wool felt therefore wearing them in the rain is okay but we do not recommend getting the hats soaked, as the hats will form their own shape according to the conditions they are put through. Additionally, do not leave your hat in the car for a long period of time as it can over heat & cause the hat to shrink.
Like any hat that is consistently worn, they become worn in, softer, more charismatic, especially according to the way it is treated.

Australia:

Free Domestic Shipping within Australia.
Express Shipping costs within Australia is $25 AUD.
We cannot guarantee exact delivery times, however please allow 2-7 business days (not including weekends or public holidays), and please note that shipping to rural locations may vary.
International:
‘The Salty Crown’ offers $35 AUD standard shipping worldwide.
International Express Shipping costs are $55 AUD.
Please allow up to 4 weeks for your delivery. We strongly advise delivery times will vary greatly depending on location.
Please allow extra time during peak seasons to avoid disappointment.
Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers own expense.
The Salty Crown cannot mark international orders as gifts in an order to bypass or reduce customs fees.
Please make sure when making a purchase with The Salty Crown that you have provided us with the correct contact and shipping details. We will provide you with tracking information with every order and make every effort to make sure your package reaches you, but please note that The Salty Crown is NOT held responsible for lost or stolen items.
Do you have a Returns Policy?
We are extremely diligent on quality control checks prior to shipping the hat off to you and we are confident every hat we send out is at very high handmade quality. Each hat will not be the same as the next as the handmade process creates uniqueness in every hat.
All sales are final. Each hat is made to order and made according to the size that you have chosen. There are no returns, refunds, or exchanges, so please make sure you have measured your head correctly (refer to size guide above) and matched it according to the size of the hat you are purchasing.
